Storms & Tsunamis!

Yesterday started out sunny and surprisingly warm by winter standards at 17, but by late afternoon the clouds were rolling in with hail and severe storm warnings out.

Last night there was a 7.8 quake in New Zealand, which prompted Australia to be put on tsunami alert, specifically the East Coast. Above you can see from the SMH article with threat zones…

Thankfully there are no reports of serious injury or damage from the quake, and the tsunami never eventuated!
