Point + Shoot: Playtime

The highlight of our weekend was babysitting my 1 year old niece, Zara, on Saturday afternoon. She’s at that lovely age where’s she’s past the worst of the teething upsets, really inquisitive and good natured.

You can read a little more about our weekend here, but I thought I’d share this cute video I snapped of my fiance Adam and Zara playing on our lounge room floor. The TV had one of my favourite Sesame Street movies, “Follow that Bird”, on. I think Adam liked it more than Zara though ๐Ÿ˜‰

As you can see by the mess, paper is one of her favourite toys right now. She loves to feel the pages and delights in ripping them to pieces, which is where catalogues come in handy!

Other than time with Zara, my weekend involved lots of washing (catching up after being in Tas last weekend!) and watching my team come 2nd in baseball! It was our best loss of the season to date, we really need to play down a grade, we’re getting slaughtered where we are ๐Ÿ™ I wish I could play, but it will probably be another year before I can contemplate it… maybe winter next year?

This post is part of Point + Shoot over at sunny+scout. Why not play along?

Kids that age are so adorable, though every age is nice in a way ;-). Wish my brothers would compete for best uncle ;-). Have great week – maks ๐Ÿ™‚
