Lunch with my Mummy’s group

Today I met up with some of the wonderful mothers from my online mothers group, for lunch!

We hail from all over Sydney and the Central Coast, meeting up every other week either down here or up there. I don’t think I’d have made it through my pregnancy and the feeding hell that was the first few months of Sean’s life without some of the support I’ve gotten from these women. There’s roughly 60 of us across Australia, our bubs were all due in March and the love and support we all give each other is nothing short of amazing. They brought flowers for me and a gift for Sean when I had emergency surgery a few short weeks after Sean was born, even though most of them were either having or about to have their own babies. Whether it’s a shoulder to cry on, someone to whinge to, ask an opinion, swap ideas and experiences or even swap baby clothes, we just work.

We met up at Club Rivers, over near me for this week’s meet. We had a special guest in one of our QLD Mum’s Annette who was down here on a holiday with her partner and two children. That’s Sean and I on the end in the stripes, totally didn’t plan our outfits by the way!!
