Matthew’s Day Off

Ingenious marketing campaign by Honda for their new CR-V!

“To celebrate the launch of the all-new 2012 CR-V, Honda brought Ferris Bueller’s Day Off back in a big game commercial. We cast Matthew Broderick as himself, skipping out on a day of acting work and living it up in his all-new CR-V. Relive movie history with Honda’s fresh twist and wonderful homage to this ’80s classic.”

So no it’s not a sequel to the movie, which is one of the rumours swirling around the Interwebs since the short version launched last week, rather this is Honda’s Superbowl commercial.

Watch it, it’s a lot of fun 🙂

What’s in a name?

I’ve gone through a few domain changes in my time blogging from 2000 onwards:

  • katweb.net
  • roogirl.com/net
  • now undomestikated.com/net

I love my domain name but as a name for the actual site, undomestikated isn’t sitting right with me, it kinda sounds like something used to clean the bathroom!

So I’m looking at renaming the site itself but leaving the domain as it is. Any suggestions? 🙂

Blackadder & Shakespeare

If you loved Rowan Atkinson & Hugh Laurie in the popular BBC series, Blackadder, check out this rare sketch done live on stage for charity…

Yes that’s the very same actors who play Mr Bean and House, in their normal voices 😉

I have many fond memories of watching Blackadder with my parents growing up, of course I never understood much of the humour back then, so it’s quite a treat to rewatch it all. My Dad especially is a huge fan, I really should borrow his dvds sometime!
